Allied Health Services under the NDIS are therapy and specialist supports that help participants build skills, improve independence, and work towards their personal goals related to their disability. At Best Life Individual Support Services, our Therapeutic Supports for children and adults include Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology and Speech Pathology.
Allied Health Services involve qualified health professionals who assess, treat, and support people with disability. These services focus on capacity building—helping participants develop skills rather than providing ongoing care only.
They are commonly funded under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living in an NDIS plan.
If you child or young person would like to build independence in everyday activities, our Occupational Therapists can work with them and their support system to learn new skills or find new ways of doing things.
Speech Pathology can assist your child’s communication, speech, language, literacy and eating, drinking and swallowing.
Working closely with parents, carers, and professionals, we develop a plan tailored to your child and provide support in an open, honest, and caring environment, focusing on you and your child’s goals.
