Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is a type of short-term housing support funded by the NDIS. It provides a temporary place to live for participants who cannot live in their usual home while they wait for a more suitable long-term housing solution.
MTA is temporary accommodation for up to 90 days (or sometimes slightly longer with approval). It is designed for NDIS participants who need a safe place to live while their long-term housing is being arranged.
MTA is not intended to be permanent housing.
